It features BoostIQ technology, which means it automatically increases suction power when needed to ensure it does the best job possible. You can easily set it to clean only the areas you want by setting boundary strips and it has drop-sensing technology, which means you don’t have to worry about it falling down the stairs or dropping off steep ledges. It also goes back to the charging station then the battery has 20% left to auto-charge.

The only downside I had is at the start it could be a bit of a challenge to set it up properly, and once you dot that – you are golden.

As you would expect from a robot vacuum in this price range – the Roborock S5 has wi-fi connectivity and its own dedicated app. In addition to operating it through the Android/iOS app, you also have the option to use voice control via Amazon Alexa.

In addition to wi-fi connectivity, this vacuum also has some excellent in-built technology that enables it to clean in the most efficient way possible. There are multiple smart sensors to ensure it doesn’t bump into things and won’t fall off any ledges or down the stairs. It also has a route-planning feature and anti-jamming technology.

In addition to sweeping and sucking up dirt and debris, this vacuum also mops as it goes along. You might be concerned that it would leave water or water streaks behind, but this is not the case.

The battery life on this vacuum is superb, giving you up to 150 minutes of running time from a single charge. It’s also self-recharging, so you don’t need to worry about taking it over to a power source yourself.

Overall: This is definitely in the more pricey range for a robot vacuum, but when you take into account its features and ease of use, it more than justifies the cost.

It doesn’t have wi-fi connectivity so voice control isn’t an option but it does have a remote control that makes it very convenient to use. The 900ml dustbin is very easy to empty and is designed to prevent spillage when you’re emptying it.

Overall: Taking its low price into account, this vacuum has some excellent features that make it well worth considering.

The Leafant Robot Vacuum Cleaner has excellent suction power and provides a powerful yet quiet cleaning experience.
