Looking for the best pressure washer for under £100?
You’ve come to the right place!
I’ve spent every sunny day I can find testing out pressure washers. And having tested out dozens and dozens of pressure washers I’ve found the absolutely best pressure washers under £100.
I’ve got a quick summary below, if you click the links you’ll be taken to Amazon where you can order yours today.
I updated this article in 2024 after the big rise in inflation that seems to have skyrocketed the prices of everything. With that in mind, a few of these are just over the £100 mark but very much worth it, while others were under £100 at the time of writing. It’s also worth checking out B&Q or Screwfix for a lot of these models.
Top 5 Best Budget Pressure Washers Under £100
- Top Choice – K2 Power Control Home Pressure Washer
- Runner Up – Yard Force 130 Bar 1800W High-Pressure Washer
- Best For Patios – Wilks-USA RX510 High Power 135 Bar Portable Electric Jet Washer
- Cheapest – Bosch EasyAquatak 110 High-Pressure Washer
- Best Compact Choice – Ryobi RPW110B Pressure Washer
1. Top Choice – K2 Full Control Home Pressure Washer
Brand: Kärcher
Max Pressure: 110 Bar
Pros:
- Fast detergent application
- Onboard Accessory storage
- Lightweight
- Adjustable Power Setting
- Can take water from a bucket or water butt
Cons
- Clip To Hold Hose Feels Flimsy
Karcher makes great pressure washers, their K2 model is no exception. It’s got a lance that has 4 different power settings so you can be sure not to damage anything and although it’s a little over £100 I found it much better than the previous K2 Compact pressure washer when it comes to cleaning power so if you can stretch the little extra it’s totally worth it.
All the accessories can be stored on the main body which is great because they are the exact size that they could just get lost in the shed never to be seen again.
The only problem is that the hose retaining clip feels a little flimsy. It’s impossible to know if it’s actually going to break but it’d be a real pain if it did.
The hose it comes with is about 4m long which is generally long enough to wash anything you need it to. It’s 1m longer than the Bosch EasyAquatak so the whole thing tips over less.
And it comes with a bunch of attachments for cleaning the patio which is great. It’s got a bottle of cleaning solution, which it takes in via a small hose, a Dirtblaster lance and a Vario lance making it ideal for cleaning your car and around the garden.
The dirt blaster lance is cool because it sort of spirals the water and has 50% more cleaning power than a normal hose. And the other hose is the one you can adjust the power of.
Compared to the older K2 model it now comes with an app, which probably won’t be hugely useful to you but it does let you register your Karcher so you can start the 2-year guarantee which is pretty handy.
Overall, It’s easy to see why the Karcher is the most popular budget washer. It’s a lightweight pressure washer, powerful, heavy-duty and has loads of great attachments. Easily one of the best jete washers you can buy for under £100.
2. Runner Up – Yard Force 130 Bar 1800W High-Pressure Washer Review
Pros:
- 6m hose length
- Foam spray bottle for car cleaning
- Pressure settings
- 2-year manufacturers warranty
- 430L/H water flow
Cons:
- No hose reel
This was a tough battle comparing the Yardforce 130 Bar to the Karcher K2 above. In my tests in terms of power, it landed at more powerful than the Karcher K2 compact, but not as powerful as the Karcher K2 full control above. On paper, it is a better jet washer at a lower price but I found the overall quality of the Karcher to be higher.
However, the Yard Force is cheaper. It is under £100 and if you need it to clean your car and light cleaning of garden furniture and the like this will be plenty strong enough. It’s also compatible with Karcher accessories so if you want to upgrade to a patio nozzle or a different jet lance you can.
Great power, good control, a foam sprayer for car cleaning, and it’s a bargain price. The storage space it takes up is minimal in your shed and while it isn’t a huge factor I love the orange colour of the body.
A 2-year warranty comes as standard and if you register online you get an extra year warranty on top of that for peace of mind that you’ll get good value.
The tools all fit onto the body itself and it’s got a water pressure of 130 bar to tackle any cleaning task at home. The thing that’s missing? You have to wind the power cord yourself and throw it over the telescopic handle, not the end of the world, however.
If you want to save as much money as possible without compromising too much on power then this is the best choice of high pressure washer.
3. Best For Patio Cleaning – Wilks-USA RX510 High Power 135 Bar Portable Electric Jet Washer
Brand: Wilks USA
Max Pressure: 130 bar
Pros
- 6 accessories including a patio washer
- On board storage
- Wheels for convenience
- Works off bucket or tap
- 5m hose
Cons
- Feels a little flimsy
- The hose is plastic coated and a little difficult to wind
Wilks USA was a new brand to me, came across them when I was researching petrol pressure washers and they are excellent.
The RX510 is their basic model coming with a shorter hose and less power than their higher-end models but it’s also got a much smaller price tag! And it comes with 6 accessories including the patio cleaner which is a huge help if you’ve got a large patio you’re trying to clean.
Although it’s a little more expensive this is the only budget pressure washer that comes with any sort of patio cleaning attachment. And having some sort of circular cleaner will cut down the time it takes to clean your patio by half. Plus the scrubbing brush makes short work of the patio turning even the greenest slabs back to grey. It doesn’t sound clean but is the color you want!
You’ve got good power at 130 bar and 1950 PSI which is actually a little higher than the Karcher, it’s on wheels and around 8kg so you can move it about your garden easily. Does a great job in most small tasks, and can clean your patio and your car and even the walls of your house if you’re getting ready to paint.
Plus it’s got an onboard detergent tank so you can get an even deeper and more effective clean.
It feels a little flimsy as you move it but they’ve cut costs with the casing rather than the power which is the way round you want it. Same with the hose, it doesn’t feel the best but it gets the job done, which again is all you want when you’re on a budget.
Overall it’s a superb pressure washer, ideal for patios and pretty much all cleaning jobs, with every part equivalent to the similar price point of Karcher.
4. Cheapest – Bosch EasyAquatak 110 High-Pressure Washer
Brand: Bosch
Max Pressure: 110 Bar
Pros
- Lightweight
- Fan Jet Nozzle
- Soap Intake
Cons
- No Wheels
- Brush Sold Separately
(I believe also known as the Bosch AQT) The pressure of the Bosch and the fan nozzle make it ideal for cleaning cars, the only problem is the brush attachment is sold separately.
The total price is still well under £100 so I thought I’d still include it.
It doesn’t have wheels so you have to carry it but the whole thing only weighs about 4kg so it’s not too much trouble.
The AQT is designed so that when you stop spraying it stops taking water which is great for stopping any problems with the filter on the inside. This can often cause problems with pressure washers and cause them to break from the inside out.
It’s not the best for big areas because of the lack of wheels but great for cleaning tasks like the car and on small areas of the path.
Because it’s nice and small you can easily get it onto a shelf in your shed which is great it’s only 37 x 17 x 34 cm.
Overall, it’s great for cleaning bikes, cars, bicycles, and small areas of paths because of the fan nozzle and compact size.
5. Best Compact Choice – Ryobi 110 bar Pressure Washer
Brand: Ryobi
Max Pressure: 110 Bar
Pros
- Compact
- Solid Build
- Auto switch off
- M22 pressure hose outlet fitting, so it’s compatible with aftermarket hoses
Cons
- Only one power setting
- Need to be careful with the protruding hose nozzle
If you’re short on space but don’t want to compromise space the Ryobi is a perfect choice. I’m more familiar with their battery tools but this isn’t a battery-powered pressure washer, it’s wired, and it really surprised me! It was a new test for 2024 and I was impressed by its power for its size.
Is it as powerful as the wheeled Karcher K2 or the Yard Force? Of course not, it doesn’t have enough machines to generate the power. But it will make short work of most casual at-home jobs you might have to do.
Only 5kg so it’s very manageable to carry and the accessories are stored on board for even more compact storage and transportation. The only thing you’ll need to be careful of is the protruding hose attachment. It feels like it could be snapped off if you were to drop it on its front. But it screws off so if you’re storing it for winter I’d recommend removing it.
It’ll clean up your car in no time, decking will get spruced up nicely and even patio slabs will get a new shine to them. Plus there are a ton of accessories available if you need a more tailored job completed.
The best compact pressure washer around.
What To Watch Out For With A Cheap Jet Washer Under £100
You don’t want to go too cheap with a pressure washer and end up with one that isn’t any more powerful than a high-pressure hose with your thumb over it.
So you want to make sure the pressure is above 110 bar, which is on most pressure washers. More expensive models have higher but for a basic model and jobs around the house, you’ll be fine.
It’s only if you’re looking to clean really big areas, caravans, 4x4s or just generally dirty things.
Where Are You Going To Be Using It?
This is probably the most important question you can ask because you’re going to have slightly different needs if you’re washing your car than if you’re trying to demoss the driveway.
If you want to do lots of different things don’t worry I’ve got that covered too! Check out the most popular model, the Karcher K2, and that’ll serve you right.
Budget Pressure Washers For Cars
If you’re going to be washing your car with it you’re going to want a couple of different things.
- Adjustable Power
- Detergent Intake
- Brush Attachment
- Fan Spray Lance
The last thing you want to do is take the paint off your car.
So you must get a pressure washer with adjustable power and preferably a lance that shoots water in a fan. That lessens the pressure on a single point.
Or, a brush will be great especially if you combine that with a detergent intake so you can soap up the car.
For Patios, and Brick Work
Now for patios, just a regular power washer is usually fine, that’s where they’re in their element.
But you do get patio-specific tools which are useful if you have a big patio. Specifically, you can get a patio cleaner!
This is a big flat round head attachment that speeds up cleaning patios. With just the single jet it can take a while so it’s handy if you have a big space to cover.
Other Things To Consider When Buying A Cheap Pressure Washer
Just a couple of other things you might want to consider.
Does It Have Wheels
Not an absolute must but it sure makes it a hell of a lot easier to move it around if it’s got wheels on it.
Generally, the ones without wheels tend to be smaller which makes them much more manageable without sacrificing power.
Does It Have A Detergent Intake
Useful if you’re going to be washing cars, or bikes for that matter. Mountain biking is dirty work and a pressure washer makes cleaning jobs a lot easier.
Intake is normally a hose hanging off the back somewhere that you just feed into your bottle of detergent. Nice and easy but you have to be sure not to knock it over.
What Is The Max Pressure
As I said earlier, this is the main point where cheap pressure washers can fail. So you want a pressure of about 110 Bar or higher and you’ll have the power to clean almost anything. That’s about the limit of pressure washers under £100.
Other Cheap Pressure Washers Under £100 Reviewed
These are other great choices some of which have gone out of stock but I thought I’d leave them in any way so you compare.
W90-M High140 Bar Pressure Washer Review
Brand: Whale
Max Pressure: 140 Bar
Pros
- Very High Pressure
- Adjustable nozzle pressure
Cons
- No Attachments Available
140 Bar pressure is insanely high for this price of a pressure washer, the only reason I didn’t include it further up is there are no attachments available.
So you can’t get a brush or any of that type of cleaner, and the highest pressure emits at only a really small area, this is what gives it the high pressure but washing a patio would take forever.
What it is great for, is cleaning out between paving slabs. That and you can wash down cars and bikes easily enough.
It’s also not as well-known a brand as Karcher or Bosch so it’s not as popular. But it’s still a very powerful washer for the price so still worth mentioning.
Overall, a really good high-pressure washer but its lack of attachments means it’s not as practical.
Turtle Wax TW120 Pressure Washer Review
Pros:
- 390 liters/hour water flow rate
- 5 m hose length
- Rotating power lance
- Ideal on caravans and boats
Cons:
- No Separate accessories
The main problem with this is that it only comes with the standard adjustable spray nozzle, accessories and other attachments like a snow lance are sold separately.
That said, the trigger gun comes with a rotary nozzle that spins the water providing extra cleaning power, pretty neat right? As for cleaning power, it’s a 120-bar pressure washer that comes at a very reasonable price tag. It’s got wheels to make moving it around much easier so you can get around your garden happily.
Patio furniture, bikes, boats, yachts, you name it and this can clean it. Solid build quality and far more powerful than your regular garden hose, what’s not to like?
Nilfisk C-120 Patio And Brush 120 Bar Pressure Washer
Brand: Nilfisk
Max Pressure: 120 Bar
Pros
- 6 m Long Hose
- Patio Attachments
- High Pressure
Cons
- Price Fluctuates around £100
Got a dirty patio? Then this is the pressure washer for you! It’s got slightly higher pressure than the other ones which is ideal and all the attachments so you can get a deep clean on a patio.
The price of this at the time of writing was just under £100 but it was also Christmas amongst sales, so it should stay that price (or go lower) but I’m not certain. I’ll check back in the future but if you click above and it’s not, my apologies! Update: the price has gone over £100 but not by much and this is still an excellent model so I’ve decided to keep it in anyway.
The Nilfisk has a 6 m long hose which is ideal for getting over the whole patio. If it’s too short it’s a pain because you have to keep moving the whole machine so 6 m is ideal.
It has about 10 bar more pressure than most of the other models in the price range which makes much more of a difference than you’d expect. And just that little bit of extra pressure means it’s much easier to get off moss and other bits of grime that patios seem to attract.
Overall, it’s a great pressure washer for dealing with patios, enough pressure to tackle areas of moss and a patio nozzle head for larger areas.
Work Expert 1600W Pressure Washer Jet Wash
Pros:
- 135 bar max pressure
- 5 m power cable
- Attachable Detergent bottle
Cons:
- No wheels
This is the cheapest of all the high-pressure washers on the list, and it somewhat shows but if you’re on a tight budget this is still a great choice.
It doesn’t have wheels which is annoying because it means you have to carry it, but it’s reasonably small at 7kg as a slight relief.
The cleaning power is reasonable, if you’ve got nothing too extreme to clean you can clean up your patio or your car nicely. There’s only so much power you can get from budget electric pressure washers after all.
Apart from that, the adjustable nozzle can be adjusted from 0-60 degrees to give you a range of power to tackle any cleaning job you’ve got waiting.
Overall, a handy small pressure washer that’s powerful enough for home use.
Conclusion
And there you have it, you are now ready to be the proud owner of a high-pressure washer! If you find one available cheaper than these I’d be wary, it could still be good but just keep the things I talked about in my buyer’s guide in mind. Make sure it has enough power and a reasonable flow rate so you know it’ll handle whatever you’ve got lined up.
And if you can stretch it the next upgrade would be the Karcher K4. It’s got that little bit more power to provide you with that extra boost you might need to get a patio shining. But don’t underestimate the power of a little elbow grease to get the standard of clean you’re after.
